Technical Support Team Specialist

Job Title: Technical Support Team Specialist

IPQualityScore (IPQS) is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Team Specialist to join our growing team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting clients with issues ranging from billing & integration to analyzing results. Responsibilities:

  • Manage email address inboxes and support ticket pipelines for customer support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, development, leadership) to resolve complex issues and support clients.
  • Comfortable working with a task management system to complete assigned projects.
  • Availability during business hours.
  • Troubleshoot and debug customer issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with technology trends and cybersecurity industry news.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience or greater in technical support or client relations.
  • Familiar with APIs and real-time web services or data enrichments.
  • Friendly attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Basic understanding of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Git and SQL.

  • Advanced system administration skills.

Sr. Devops Engineer

Job Title: Sr. Devops Engineer

IPQualityScore is seeking a skilled Devops Engineer to join our team. As a Devops Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, monitoring and maintaining IPQS systems and services.  If you have experience handling bare metal servers and a passion for technology while helping IPQS remain the leader in Fraud prevention, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, monitor and manage system infrastructure.

  • Provide operational support for full-stack software applications

  • Collaborate with development operations staff to monitor, and troubleshoot the system infrastructure

  • Implement Systems and Services

  • Work with team members to increase system resilience and scale to serve ever larger customer volumes with expert-level coding, bulletproof release, and change management skills.

  • Work with team members to improve automation and increase the system’s ability to handle unexpected events.

  • Collect operating system and services data and reporting and improvement initiatives.

  • Manage cloud and database system maintenance, debugging production issues as they arise

  • Document architecture, process and procedures

Requirements:

  • 4 years experience or greater in Devops Engineering, Network Operations or similar role.

  • 4 years of experience handling bare metal servers.

  • Expert understanding of Linux and system administration.

  • Expert with database administration

  • Strong knowledge of programming (Python, PHP, Golang, NodeJS, VueJS, TypeScript, Java, C, C#, C++, Rust, etc…)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Willing to pick up and program in PHP, Golang.

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications.

SysOps Engineer

Job Title: SysOps Engineer

Position Overview:

IPQS is seeking a skilled SysOps Engineer.  As a SysOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our system infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. You will monitor system health, implement necessary security measures, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operational processes. If you are passionate about systems and security, this is a great opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Linux/Unix-based system infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and efficiency.

  • Monitor system health using tools like Nagios and Zabbix, responding promptly to any issues.

  • Optimize system performance and resource utilization to support business operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs and address technical challenges.

  • Optimize and/or automate repetitive tasks and operations using scripting languages such as python and bash.

  • Identify root causes of failures and provide corrective action(s).

  • Identify changes in industry standards & requirements , develop, and implement changes/strategies to better meet ongoing business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience or greater in system operations or a similar role.

  • Proven experience in system operations or administration, with a focus on Linux/Unix systems.

    • Deiban family based distros

  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages, including Bash and Python. (github or gitlabs profile)

  • Have a strong understanding of type-1Hypervisors and containers lxd/lxc, docker, etc.  technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages, including Bash and Python. (git repos with projects are required.)

  • Basic understanding of core security concepts ( example: NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001:2022,  SANS Top 20 CSC).

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios and Zabbix.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Understanding of networking is a plus

  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
